Thursday May 5th Welsh Assembly Elections.

WALES IS THE ONLY PART OF THE UNITED KINGDOM STILL RUN BY LABOUR
On 5th May, I will be asking you to consider supporting me to represent you in The Welsh Assembly.
Labour has been in power in Wales, either on its own or in coalition, since the Assembly was set up in 1999 and has been in coalition with Plaid Cymru since 2007. While both parties promised much, many people have been telling me how disappointed they have been.

Wales is now the poorest country in the United Kingdom. More than £600 less is spent each year on a child's education in Wales than in England. Wales now has the highest rate of economically inactive people of any part of the UK.
Despite Labour and Plaid Cymru promises, wards and services are still being taken away from Llandudno Hospital and local schools continue to be threatened with closure. Despite Plaid Cymru's rhetoric, of bringing investment to North Wales, Plaid Ministers presided over the closure of the Dolgarrog Aluminium works.

At the recent General Election, Aberconwy voted for change by electing Guto Bebb as your local MP. Now we need change in the Welsh Assembly to deliver improvements to essential services in Aberconwy.
Real changes require tough decisions and that is why the Welsh Conservatives are the only party committed to protecting the Welsh NHS budget to ensure that vital local services are funded and provided. Welsh Conservatives are also committed to abolishing business rates for the majority of small businesses and raising standards in our schools so we can correct their under-performance compared to schools in the rest of the UK.

I can assure you that if you trust me with your vote on 5th May I will always stand up to represent you and ensure that your voice is heard in Cardiff Bay. Together we can make the change that Wales needs.
